Ondoy Montero Project
First run of "Storm Ondoy" devastated Mitsu Montero '94 6G72 running and idling smoothly with the latest Alpha_303q burned into my self built MS2 daughtercard and Custom Designed PCB routed Megasquirt with provisions for Peter Florance's sequential injections!!! idling stepper motor is totally busted modified it to used a printer stepper and it worked and way better than that of the stock Stepper!!! Can't find a replacement for the busted Distributor so Modified the Dizzy to used a fiber-optic tru-hole sensor and it worked perfectly!!!

Analogy of your ECU to your Car
People often wonder - what in the world is Mega Squirt?
The best analogy would be... a liberated free thinking empowered brain transplant for any car.
You car has a brain - this is the ECU, if you have it repaired - you are simply attaching it to a pace maker where it will only keep it alive - even when there is no more brain waves or signals present in it. It's like a Zombie.

Here are some facts about your CAR ECU. Firstly, no electronic equipment like a car computer is designed to operate under water. You may get it working again, but rest assure, it will not perform the same anymore.
The Car ECU is your cars brain and it controls all the function in your engine and other electrical systems so that your car can operate well.
Once this brain is short circuited of some sort... then it will be very hard to fix it anymore and normally, the solution is to buy a brand new unit.
A brand new unit will cost about 25 grand to over 65 grand in Philippine Peso. But there is still no guarantee your car will work like it was.

PMS - VEMS 1 (Vehicle Management Systems - version 1) can be retrofitted to any car with EFi. This system is fully programable by using a laptop and the cheaper universal serial sockets that will replace your original OEM OBD1 and OBD2 ports.
